The hafla was a blast! I wound up eating a zombie's brain...I think I'm confused as to how that works. lol Wished I could have stayed longer that night but had 2 melting down wee-burners that needed to go to bed (so did I).

...and my thanks to the team of Roses, both in-house and honorary for helping get the space ready for all you wonderful, good-humored dancers and musicians! (and teaching bellydance, and hula, and whip-crackin'...) Without the whole garden of Roses, I'd never get anything done. And thanks to everyone who came and danced, and laughed, and had their brains eaten by zombies. (totally unplanned, the zombie thing. But worth every brain-munching second!)

I just want to say THANK YOU Heidi of Iron Rose for hostessing an amazing hafla-- it was great to get my dance on to some of my favorite music, and to be plied with drinks from a very handsome British bartender (yum!). Even the zombie invasion was fun (if a bit creepy at the same time). I am SO glad this has become a regular thing on the playa-- it has certainly become a fixture in my personal Burning Man schedule! Yay! :)
