Hookahdome seeks bellydancers

I got this message yesterday and am passing it on as requested:

I'm from Hookahdome, a middle-eastern stlyed Esplanade theme camp, and
we're trying to round up belly dancing talent from our friends around
the playa for nightly belly dancing at our camp, and probably one big
night of dancing advertised in the printed calendar. The camp features
a large, inviting, exquisitely decorated hookah lounge (the Hookahdome),
and an outdoor fire-lit performance area alongside the esplanade. We
also have a large 12'x16' magic carpet which could be used for effect of
a grand entrance for dancers if desired.

Let me know if you're interested in organizing something on one or more
nights during BM'04, and please pass this along to your fellow dancers
to see if there's interest in possible impromptu appearances as well.

    I LOVE Hookahdome. They were our back-door neighbors in 2000, and not only was the music fabulous all week, they were also incredibly friendly and yummy people.

    I'd recommend taking this up if you're interested.

      I found this tribe, like, just now, but I'd really like to personally invite everyone here to come belly dance in the Hookahdome. I'll forward updated details here to the tribe for all to see.

    The lowdown on belly dancing in the Hookahdome:

    I discussed things with many interested dancers, and people's enthusiasm is awesome! We have decided the Hookahdome shall be your free forum for belly dancing, every night of the week!

    Ideally, try to come by as soon as you can early in the week sometime just so we can all meet and sync up ideas, etc.

    We wanted to keep things simple, and schedules to a minimum. So instead of focusing on one big event, it seems more comfortable for dancers to just come on by whenever you are in the mood! Hang out for a bit and if the vibe feels right to you then just tell the DJ you want to perform, get everything ready, and go for it! (bring your own music if you like, or we'll have good dancing CDs ready).

    Now, if you're also interested in participating in a multiple-dancer show, then we have left open Thursday evening for this possibility. Come by the camp just after dark and hang out a bit in the dome, until any other dancers arrive. If we have a quorum, we can all can sort out details of costuming, music, presentation, etc. and get started whenever we agree to!

    Note address update! We've been shoved over to 3:50, on the Esplanade.

    We will showcase every ounce of your talent and spirit you wish to share! Please consider Hookahdome's authentic carpets to be a plush heaven for your bare dancing toes...
