So, last night I packed most of my costumes I am planning on taking to Burning Man (boo who, I was sad to pack it away). In it I have all of my turbans accent scarves, bindi's, harem pants, three skirts, one bra and belts set and then a couple of other goodies. When I got my box full of BD costumes and realized I still had at least a half a rubbermaid container to go before I was finished packing it was then that I realized I am costume whore....

I've had a devil of a time finding costumes...since it's my first year, I don't know firsthand what to bring.... and having next to no bellydancing stuff, I've had to get a bit creative <grin>.... but, uber-cool costumes or not, I'm looking forward to having an amazing time!
And besides..... "naked" is a costume, right? Hee hee....

Wed, August 18, 2004 - 10:23 AMI am beyond a whore when it comes to costumes. I have two giant rubber made container plus a bag of accessories. And I still see stuff I want. (It's not all belly dance stuff though) My girls and I have a 4 room tent for costumes this year Im so excited. It has took me 7 bm years and many belly dance performances plus raves to build up everything, but it is a bit of an obsession. woo hoo almost playa time:)
