It's quite an extraordinary experience, to be with so many women making such a strong statement going down the street, showing our presence to the world! It makes everybody happy in the several thousand people crowd. The kids don't believe their eyes, men are more then happy and women are so glad to see us too. I find this event to be an important one for women. There aren't that many important events such as like the Billion Belly March in the Fremont Solstice Parade. Delilah has been at it for more then 15 years... My first one was last year.
It's the expression of the free creative spirit with a strong community sense. Showing how we, women, are part of this society and can contribute in different ways then men. We are seeking national attention for this reason. Showing our presence.
